Spencer Mears

I'm Spencer Mears and I am a photographer in the beautiful Bay Area of California. Our psyche sees the mood of a moment and reveals our motives and intentions; with each photograph I take I hope to capture something with a perspective that is not only beautiful, but meaningful as well. I hope for every piece to convey a message of some kind whether it be sheer beauty, an impulse or mood, or a concept that changes the viewer's outlook in some way.

I began my professional career several years ago as a freelance portrait photographer then began shooting weddings in 2005. With over one hundred weddings shot I have learned that capturing the special moments of one of the most special days in a person's life is the most rewarding job I can think of as a photographer.
