Welcome!
I'm Spencer Mears and I am a wedding and general photographer in the bay area. Photography to me is a source of psychological stimulation and it has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Our psyche sees the mood of a moment and reveals our motives and intentions; with each photograph I take I hope to capture something with a perspective that is not only beautiful, but meaningful as well. I hope for every piece to convey a message of some kind whether it be sheer beauty, an impulse or mood, or a concept that changes the viewer's outlook in some way.

I started shooting professionally several years ago as a freelance photographer and began shooting weddings in 2005, I must say that capturing the special moments of the most special day in people's lives is the most rewarding job I can think of as a photographer.
